plz help problem d/l at google play

I just brought my new tablet to McDonald's to get free wifi and I signed in and went to Google play and when I try to d/l anything it says error error retrieving info from server. (Rpc : s-5:aec-0.

Its running Android 4.0.4

Connect to a different hotspot. Probably connection problems

I don't think McDonald's wifi supports things like downloading files, at least that was my experience when using their hotspot while RVing years ago where they were the only free wifi in town

some free wifi spots do not allow for downloading this keeps people from downloading copyrighted materials on their system.

Thx guys. Yeah Google play wouldn't work for me but mobile 1 app dowloader worked fine. U can download at McDonald's. I do it all the time with my other device. Just for some reason Google play would work on my new tablet. I think it might be my tablet. Its a no name brand. I read online that some people have a problem usein gooogle play on it.

The 1Mobile Market is my preferred store as well, enough that I either disable or delete Play Store due to all the bugs
