I rooted my phone I have no problem with it..I was wondering how to turn off the 4g to save battery ..well Someone told me to dl anycuts..and do a shortcut to network settings i did then told me click on CDma only mode I did it rebooted my phone to 1x but when i trygoing back cause i didnt like how it reboothed my phone..trying going back to LTE that it was one it wont go..and I can't get calls or nothing..plzz help me..

is there a factory reset or something that i can do...I really don't care if I lose the root..I just want my phone back to where i can make calls again..if it don't work as long i lose the root is off my phone ill just take it up to metro and let them see about it

You won't lose root hit factory reset and you'll lose all contact but you'll be straight

What do you mean it won't go? I wrote on my post that all you have to do to go back to 4G is set it to HYBRID OPERATION and then select AUTOMATIC and it goes back just fine. I've tested this a dozen times before posting and the service always goes back perfectly. If you read through my entire post I told you DO NOT SELECT LTE to go back into 4G mode...select HYBRID OPERATION. There is no need to do a factory reset

pull the battery out your phone, you should be ok after that
if that doesn't work, uninstall anycut then pull the battery out

this happened to me last night also, I downloaded lte onoff & i had no service until I did the following steps I posted above

Actually what you are suggesting won't help. If you uninstall Any Cut and delete the shortcut, you won't be able to get back to the menu to change the setting back to normal. I wrote the instructions on my thread very clearly and made sure everything worked before I typed it up. Sorry if you guys have trouble with plain english

I never seen/read you instructions I got my instructions from someone else

Yea i didnt realize that till i read what u wrote over..andd i read Select the hybrid operation .. once i click that it restared over n work ..thank u..next time i need not to jump n read everything before i do something.. it work turning 4g off and putting 1x on but i dont really feel comfortable restartin my phone like that but it work if i need to do that thank you again

If you really want to save battery. Turn off Auto Sync and Auto Notifications. That will save you a crap load of battery life.

Also, the more you use your phone, the faster the battery dies.

IF you're not using it and the battery dies, it's mostly cause from apps running and searching in the backgroud. So turning off Auto Sync and Notifications will GREATLY help.

Also, close any other apps running in the backgroud.

geetech, when you did ur factory reset, did u lose root? i just bought a used lg esteem metropcs, and im thinkin bout doin a factory reset to remove all this guys info, but i don't wanna lose root.

if im not mistaken u won't lose root if u factory reset on cwm only just make a bck up first b for anything if u wipe data after that just install one of thu customs roms and u would b good
the only thing is sync ur contacts to ur gmail
