Pocket Money Replacement

I've been using Pocket Money for some years and it does everything I want but it's no longer available and I worry about what I'll do when I get a new smartphone as I can't get the app any more.
Can anyone recommend a personal finance manager that does the following:

Two-way synch with a Windows desktop companion application.
Repeating transactions.
Multiple accounts with the ability to move funds from one account to another.
I do not need an app that will synch with my bank accounts.

Thanks. My brain is spinning trying to sort through the various apps. Syncing with a desktop version is the main stumbling block with most of them.

I cant find Pocket Money on any of the legitimate app mirrors (apk mirror or f-droid)
Is it a free app?

No, as I said it's no longer available. The developer died and his company closed.
Yeah but some sites keep apps that are no longer available on Play Store.
If it's a free app and no one has an alternative then all I can suggest is googling "pocketmoney.apk download" and take your chances with copies that "could" contain malware (you have to go to Settings, security, and enable "Unknown Sources" to install apps from outside Play Store) .
If it's not free then that's piracy (even though it's no longer available to buy) and can't be condoned here.
Good luck :thumbsupdroid:

If you go along this route, use a good security app like Malwarebytes https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.malwarebytes.antimalware to scan it

RIP to the dev whoever he was btw

... Just noticed that says "purchase from Android marketplace".
Is that the only payment method mate?
EDIT just noticed it's available on Amazon App Store via a link on that site :thumbsupdroid:

Catamount Software has it. I use the one from Catamount and have used it for a couple of years.

I got a sideways upgrade as I had it on Palm. (Still have the CD)

Catamount Software no longer exists. As I said earlier the developer died and the company no longer supports or sells this app. Even if it could be found on another site you can't get a registration number.

It was never a free app. You can no longer get a registration code for it anyway so even if you could find it elsewhere it won't work properly.

anMoney does all that and it syncs with Quicken.

Thanks for that. How would the PC version work? Would I have to have Quicken on my PC and would there be two-way synchronisation, which is what I have now?

I mainly do my finances on my Pocket Money PC Desktop and then synch via wi-fi to Pocket Money on my Android phone. However, I go to Europe for six weeks at a time and then I keep up with all transactions on my phone. When I come home I synch with the desktop via wi-fi and that updates all the accounts on my PC.

Ah right. No offence but if you'd explained that at the start it would have saved me some time and resources.
No worries :thumbsupdroid:

The second post in this thread was you asking me if this was a free app. The third post was me telling you that it isn't. Perhaps if you read the posts properly you'd save yourself a lot of time? Apart from which I wasn't asking for a way to continue using this app on a new phone, I was asking for an alternative app with similar features. I'm not keen on using an app that is no longer supported and really want a replacement that is current. Thanks anyway.

You would need quicken (or it would work with a working desktop Pocket Money) on your pc. I mainly do most finances in anMoney on my phone since I always have it with me. It also makes a backup to my SD card on a daily basis. Periodically you export a qif file of the unexported entries (which then flags them as being exported) and you import the qif into quicken or pocket money.

I believe with all that being said that Quicken 2013 and above has 2 way sync but I can't vouch for how well it works and I can tell you that I like the 1 way sync method that I employ with anMoney. The reason I only try to sync 1 way is because anMoney keeps track of entries that haven't been Exported yet then flags them after the export. Don't know how much I trust the desktop side to do the same and don't want to chance duplicate entries (they can be hard to clean up).
