Help Podcast pauses every 20 minutes or so...

I've got a relatively new Captivate (I've had it 2 or 3 months now). Ever since I have had it Podcasts will pause when playing about every 20 minutes. I've reformatted my phone to factory defaults, and I've tried a few different podcast applications. They all seem to exhibit this problem.

As I mentioned I am 'new' to Android. and perhaps it's something else. wondering if it sounds like a hardware issue?
