Pokémon GO launches in Japan with McDonald's-sponsored GYM and PokéStops

Niantic Labs has finally unleashed Pokémon GO in Japan. The launch of the game is also accompanied by its first sponsorship which ads PokéStops or GYMs to all 3,600 McDonalds restaurants in Japan. If you live in Japan and have yet sideloaded the APK, you can download it directly from Google Play.

That's a good idea. put the Gyms and Pokestops at known safe places, e.g. sponsored restaurants. Instead of on railway lines, or in minefields, or places where you might be shot at. etc.
