who thinks Verizon will do a update to the nexus prior to Jan. 14!?

does google send the update or verizon? either way, i think we will see someting soon. fingers crossed

vzw tech support told me 'mid january'...but we know how big red is with their dates.
 
It's a Google phone, Verizon has zero to do with fixing it. You guys are getting the same song and dance we got with the Nexus S on Sprint. We had (and still have) awful reception and wifi issues. Mine would drop signal and go into roaming in areas with towers all over. Sprint techs said they were looking into it and a fix would come. Nothing ever happened and many were returned. Verizon cam say anything they want so people don't return phones in droves. Bottom line is that it's a hardware problem with weak radios, just like the Nexus S, not a software or network problem. There will be no fix.

best reception and call quality i've ever had during my 10+ years as a verizon customer

Seriously. Just wrote a huge reply. And the browser crashed..
In short theres deff. An issue. If had the droid 1&2,TB and 4S. This thing is horrid when it comes to connectivity

sucks man, for your sake and others who are having problems, i hope there is a software update that can help
