Help Poor call quality?

Does anyone else have very poor call quality with their EVO? I have 2 EVOs and both have a tinny sound
 
I agree. I was talking to my mother in the other room (test) and I was talking normally and she said I needed to speak up.

Her voice was perfectly fine though.
 
Do you guys think this can be fixed with software? If this is the way it is all the time, I may seriously consider returning the phone and waiting it out for the Shadow....
 
did any of u remove the factory screen protector? i had the same quiet sound in my earpice, then when i removed the sprint screen cover it was waaay better. it was cuz their screen protector went over the earpiece
 
Did notice it wasn't REALLY loud and I had it on 100% volume... Speaker phone worked well though..

Simple and easy.... Menu>Settings>Call>Apply check mark at Hearing Aids....

Mine works just fine...
 
But when you put it on 100% volume, the voices begin to shrill a little bit on the C/S words.
 
only talked to two people and asked them about the call quality

first said sounds like a landline (good)

the second said good

*shrug* i was kinda worried about that myself, but so far everything has been brilliant. I got an echo once but im not sure who's fault that was. She was on At&T and those phones usually sound like you're underwater.
 
Compared to my Tour, the call quality isn't that great. I don't think its just your Unit gt33
HTC phones aren't known to be good in this department - We all have 30 days to return =]
 
I haven't noticed any issues with the call quality. I've only made a few calls though but so far all if then have been good to very good.
 
I think its us past blackberry users who are noticing the sound/call low volume quality, those coming from a pre or whatever on the other hand shouldn't notice.
 
no no, you guys arent understanding: the ppl on the other end CAN HEAR us, the thing is, the quality WE HEAR ON THE EVO IS CRAP; that is, it is crackly when we turn it up. Yes, indeed it is MUCH WORSE when u have the plastic protector on it, but still a lil disapointed bc it still craks with the s's as someone pointed out above. right guys? are some of you wit' me?

I'm with you too. Exact problems I'm having.
