Help Poor framerate while recording video

I tried recording 720p and 1080p videos on my SGS2, and the framerate stutters a lot whenever its auto focusing, which happens all the time. Ive seen many 1080p samples churned out by this phone with lots of auto focus and they dont drop a single frame at all. I just got my phone on sunday and its not rooted or modified in any way. Is there some setting i need to adjust or is it a software bug on my set?

EDIT: Just tried it again in the same environment and same lighting. Was testing the auto focusing this time and it seems to work perfectly. So is it just me? Or did i expect too much?

I have the same exact problem. My phone is already rooted. Is this some type of common issue? Any fix available? My phone is less than a week old... any way to remove the yellow triangle without a jig so I can get it replaced if needed? Thanks for any help!

I have read that it's something to do with lighting, though if the edit is true I'm not sure. I know in darker conditions the lens has to "compensate" for the darkness" to keep a high quality so sort of "blinks" to get more light...if that makes sense.

I have a rooted device as well and I can say that the auto focus is REALLY aggressive but its still usable. However even when my device is auto focussing I don't notice and drop in frame rate nor any lag. And to remove the yellow triangle you just flash a stock kernal after rooting. However you still can't get it replaced without a jig, the flash counter cannot be reset without a jig and will show 1 if you have flashed a custorm kernal to root.

I've read somewhere that setting the exposure to -2 will reduce the lagginess during autofocus and that not all devices have this issue. Samsung says it is a hardware issue, but it seems that it only happens with certain firmwares. Updating existing firmwares of working cameras will produce the lag apparently. So now I have to wait for a jig to reset my counter. My phone is also starting to develop a yellow tint on the left side of the screen. I will try to set my exposure to -2 and see if the lag goes away. Update me if you guys know more :)
