Pop Email

I Yesterday we setup the Evo for my wife. We had picked it up but she waited a bit to activate it. She has to be able to access her work email. On her old Optimus V a coworker set up her pop email account. Same info by same coworker was put into the new Evo today and it just will not connect. I have been trying to get it to work all dam day and its driving me crazy. I have never set up one of these before and don't know if the Evo is just not working or if its me.

Is there anyway to transfer from the Optimus to the Evo the account info? If anybody has any advice I could use it.

Outgoing Email security set to ssl? And incoming too just in case. That helped me. But it depends on provider

I use K9 as my email client. I like it better than the stock one. For one reason, it allows a quiet time mode.

Also, your username could be the whole email address, not just the part in front of the "@"

Mine works just fine with POP email.
