Root (Port) Behold 2 1.6 ( No Twiz w/ Busybox & Rooted Kernel )

No.. My market still still does not work. odin, factory reset, re-odin.. I came from R7 straight to twix. Used PDA mode and debug. Did I need custom kernel or anything?
 
is anyone having trouble changing the timezone? My phone seems to be stuck on Eastern Timezone and it wont let me adjust the timezone in prompt or manual setting mode.
 
I've tried the turning on the automatic brightness on and off but the phone won't go off when next to the ear and when I bring it down it doesn't turn on either. I did a master reset on the settings also and it still didn't work but I got the phone to finally to sleep correctly after the reset on the settings and turning off autokiller app. Anybody have any suggestions what I'm doing wrong with the proximity sensor fix, plus why would autokiller app not let the phone sleep correctly any idea's.:(

The phone will not Do anything unless you hit end and the lock button.

To check if sleeping correctly, let the phone sit sit for 5 minutes then hit menu, if the lights come on it's not sleeping..

BH_MAN, your ROMs are awesome. Thanks so much for the hard work and dedication you have put into this phone and the ROMs you have made. You are the man!

1 problem that I have been having with this phone though is that ever since I bought the phone a couple of weeks ago, I have never gotten it to go to sleep. When I first got it, I flashed to your 1.5 No Touchwiz and I couldn't get it to go to sleep. Now that I have the 1.6 No Touchwiz, it still doesn't go to sleep.

Any thoughts?

Just noticed something with the vibrate on the NoTwix rom. Vibrate stopped giving feedback with the swype keyboard. Still works with everything else, just suddenly stopped in swype. Not sure if it's something I did. I noticed it shortly after downloading spare parts, but only to monitor battery usage, and didn't touch any of the other settings. I have since uninstalled and rebooted the phone, still no feedback. ???? anyone else having this problem?

still working great for me after many texts and a couple of reboots. Have you checked your swype settings?
 
dialer features and buttons were very laggy during phone calls

FC's on phone, and at the same time I lost root :(

Did you save it every time you toggled it back and forth, because I tried the toggle way "which I have lost count on how many times I've done it." Is there something I'm not doing right, BH MAN I could use some incite with this problem what am I doing wrong..

Pulling Twix, as there seems to Be to many Problems with it, not sure why?
But, Can everyone try reading before asking the same Question that was asked about, oh idk like 2 pages back!!!
 
not to crowd this thread but i just want to tell anyone who has no clue about this kind of stuff, download the proper components and the ROM of your choice, follow the easy instructions and enjoy!!! im not even great with computers and i still was able to get this ROM and an older one on my phone sucessfully. It will blow your mind when you see how nice your phone is.

Are your testers having any problems? I have ran the crap out of a lot of apps with no problems at all ;)

There issues with root, a few random FC's and dialer was acting up. This build just isn't running as smooth as he would like. He does not like to hand out crap roms so he pulled it off the forum for our own good! :p

What he said :D Paul is normally Correct regarding my Working habits :D

It will be a few before I can make anything new though... Barak Bricked the Phone I sent him & Kb7sqi bricked his, Plus Handler returned his Phone & I bricked my Phone today running Tests with the Recovery.

So all the Testers / Dev. have no Phone's now.......:mad:
 
Only problem I am having with the twix release is phone crashing on calls, and it says I have no bars when it happens, but I'm in my house with full bars... Just randomly hangs up on people. I realize that BH man can't do anything at this point, just thought I would add another verification.
 
Hello its me again (can't download anything from market after re-odining, restarting, factory reset) on TWIX version

Well I tried Twiz version, but I get the same problem, except it wouldn't even let me sync my phone with my google account because it didn't detect connection (but it did let me access the internet) until I did Network Selection and Search now, but still get the same problem...

I read about clearing the cache on an earlier page with some program on the market, but I can't access it..

Good progress though and envy those that are not having problems :) :)

I'm going to try R8 in the mean time ^__^
