Cool got it, thanks for the response. Didnt realize it was an open app because of the default home screen with warheads i assumed it was a bh-man design.

Apps widget refreshes everytime opened. Force close of home++ fixes this after reboot. Unfortunately I am no longer getting FC with home++. Or fortunately.

How do I end the process?

I really like mixzing. I know it isnt very popular, but I like some of the options it comes with. Default samsung sucks!!!!!!

I like the search feature, auto playlist when skip and play through, the widgets, an option to not shut screen down, or auto turn on when song changes. Really handy features in the car when i have it plugged in anyway.

just trying to clear some dead weight.

BHMAN thanks for the advice on the terminal but I have a question about the voice dialer it won't recognize any of my contacts when I say "Call ?" what should I do to fix it. :D

No problem. I just saw somewhere that he would have it done Sunday but I'm cool with the time off thing.

Which ever app is in Warheads I think is pretty nice... really my only beef, which is a small one, is having to drill down a bunch of levels to get to my shoutcast favorites.

Of course I haven't tried putting any actual mp3s on it since I still haven't replaced the factory shipped SD card. On the other hand, maybe its safe now... I don't think its erased itself in a few weeks... of course now that I've typed that watch it get ****ed again. :)

Does anybody have a problem with the voice dialer not working? And if you did, did you fix the problem and how? Do I need to push a new voice dialer.apk into the phone using adb shell and how do I get the new .apk file? Any advice would help right now really need it for trips in the car it helps out a lot since there's no bluetooth voice dialer available for android.
 
trying to do the warheads update from dots, after the flash i keep getting force closes on everything...what did i do wrong...

i tried to push the twlauncher.apk but adb cant find the device, i got the phone in dl mode ... someone help me out with this...im assuming im getting the force closes cause i didnt get the twlauncher.apk on the sd card....

should i of put that on the sd card first , then flash to warheads?

I don't think your supposed to be in dl mode for adb
 
Nope, for ADB phone should be either ON, or in recovery mode. Turn debug mode on (under the applications menu -> developer settings). If that's on, plug your computer into your computer and you should be good if you installed the drivers and stuff.

i did flash to warheads but everything is force closing cant even use the phone till its fixed...

what is with you new people coming on a forum with an attitude demanding help .....
First off a lil more info would help ...
did you use a back up of an older ROM to restore your settings and apps
did your old ROM include A2SD , if so
did you wipe your ext partition
????????????????


for apps to be pushed to your phone via adb it needs to be on your computer....so
did you spending any time reading any of the stickies on the top of this thread. which BH-man after all the work he's doing still found the time to post to help people like you .....

I was on dots 1.6 no twiz, and i flashed to warheads before putting the twlauncher.apk on the sd card.... so now everything force closes on startup,.... adb wont see my device.... do i need to reflash back to dots first? and put the twlauncher on there first? berfore going to warheads... no older backups not sure what a2sd is....

PLease find some time to read the "how TO adb " sticky at the top of the thread then reflash , then use your new found knowledge to push the apk to your phone....

Some people act like Bh_man is a samsung dev. and that everyone in the forums are samsung customer service. If you don't take the time to read the sticky's and research the be-jesus out of the rooting/flashing process (which could ultimately break the phone leaving it unusable with a voided warranty) then everyone who has taken the time to learn to do this shouldn't be expected to help.

Search, search, search some more, if you still can't get it start a new thread, don't pollute the already flooded threads with questions that shouldn't need to be asked. If you can't figure out this stuff from all the help provided in the sticky threads already, then run stock twiz and wait for sammy/tmo to give you an official update. ;) end rant.
 
Update: I've officially had the best battery life so far on WarHeads (finally beat R7!) 34 hours of moderate use and it was at 5% remaining. The "moderate" use consisted of:
1hr+ talk
roughly 50 text messages
bluetooth on most of the time
15-20 minutes of gps navigation
20-30 minutes web browsing
30-40 minutes of games
a couple of pictures
a few youtube videos
played a few mp3's
