Port credit extended through July 23rd

Haven't seen anyone post this yet, but since the EVO 3D is the phone that will be selling like hotcakes this next month (and past), I thought I would let everyone know that the Sprint $125 per line credit to switch to Sprint has, again, been extended. This time to July 23rd.

So, if anyone wants to wait to purchase the phone until they can test it out in a retail store, you can rest easy knowing you have another month to decide (if you are on another carrier).

Please, mods, I know you guys are crazy OCD (or is it crazy & OCD?) around here, but if this thread gets moved to the Sprint section, I fear not very many people will see it. The Sprint section is where threads go to die...

Yup. If it does get moved I know who to contact about that. I'll try to make sure it either stays here, or gets somewhere it'll be noticed.

Only makes sense because that offer is mainly extended FOR this phone.... so it's related.

The Sprint store that I have my pre order with didn't hear about it until I told them about it this afternoon. So be prepared to print a copy of the sprint.com/switchtosprint page.

Specifically asked sprint rep at store what I was eligible for as a new customer switching from another carrier. This credit wasn't mentioned. Website states credit has to be requested within 72 hrs of activation. I bought my phones 12 days ago.

Saw this post yesterday, called sprint, and received that new customer red carpet treatment. Yes I had to threaten cancellation as I am still within my 30 day trial period, but I got it.

Since it won't be applied for 60 days, I documented the memo number in the call, the employee number, and also recorded the conversation on speakerphone with voice recorder on my wife's EVO.
