ya I always use "Use wireless networks", but I only turn on GPS rarley when I use google maps.

A little side note, not to assume you don't know what you're doing, but make sure you do this in the Better Terminal app included in the R6 rom.

rm -r libSwypeCore.so

he left the libswypecore.so in.. so you must remove it

im running BH-1.6 R6

anyone having any transfer file issue. Ive been trying to transfer files and the pc and/or phone keeps disconnecting giving the "location not available" error.

Tried searchin multi forums and installd windows hotfix for win7..out of ideas.

Any direction to a link with help is welcome ..

Have you tried Reboot? Sounds Like the Superuser.apk got Messed up some how if a Reboot don't solve the Issue.

Thanks BH_MAN, the reboot worked! I know I've rebooted a couple time since loading up R6, the only thing I can think of is I tried opening the Superuser program earlier before I typed SU in terminal. When I tried opening the Superuser Program my phone went to a blank screen. Just now when I typed SU it brought up the Superuser asking for permission, I chose always allow.

JAMMIN! I got my SWYPE back!!!!!!!!

I keep losing root for apps and I am not even mounting and unmounting, I don't know for sure but I think I am losing it every time I unplug it form the wall charger?

Just Disable USB debugging & then Re-enable it...

I don't use the wall charger that Much, but I can't understand for the life of me what you guys are doing to lose Root, lol....

I've been trying to lose root, and can't! idk, maybe I'll figure it out completely what's going on with it though..

On another note, I'm testing out the app ScreenModeWidget to see if it helps with the "no sllep bug", cause last night I went to bed and woke up with more than 50% of the batter gone! I will post in the morning to tell if it worked or not.

Nope the app didn't work, I still lost 50% battery when I woke up!

I need a little help. I am trying to use ODIN to flash the new 1.6 ROM. My BH2 is recognized by my computer when I want to access my SD card but when I connect it to try to ODIN the image it does not recognize the phone. It shows it as a "Serial Gadget", tries to find drivers for it but fails. Do I need to get the USB drivers from somewhere else? I searched but cant find this answer, thanks!

What OS are you using? Did you properly install the BH2 Drivers? (please google the drivers)
Be sure to have PC studio selected on your device before you connect it to the computer, that way the real drives can get installed, otherwise you will only get the mass storage device found.

I'm still having problems with random reboots, I was hoping the 1.6 port would take care of that. I've had 3 that I know of in the last 24 hours since loading the R6 port. Is everyone else still having problems with this?

Anyone having problems with Swype? I installed it after flashing to the 1.6ROM and it just keeps Force Closing. Any ideas, anyone else experiencing this?

I never got around to it...

Make a long story short though, I think I'm going to symlink sh to Busybox sh to fix root problems... Might fix other issue's as well...

I'll know more later tonight though,..

I got my behold only a week ago, and installed 1.5 rom posted down there.
I'm totally happy with this.
I wonder what I can possibly get more from installing new 1.6 R6 ROM.
Sorry, this might be a stupid question, but can any one give me a piece of advise?

Go ahead and give it a try, you can always go back in a flash!

Pros

• -Updated Market that looks completly different
• -Google maps has more features, including google Nav
• -Phone boots twice as fast
• -a few more setting in settings lol
• -Super fast all together
• -And last but not least A2SD

Cons

• -root works on and off, we havent found the exact problem yet, but most of the time it works!
• -No vibrate what so ever
• -No voice search, but the voice call feature works when you hold down the call button
• -battery drains quickly for most of us
• -wifi doesnt reconnect when phone goes to slepp and then awakes again

If anybody wants to add to the list, go ahead!
