Pros

• -Updated Market that looks completly different
• -Google maps has more features, including google Nav
• -Phone boots twice as fast
• -a few more setting in settings lol
• -Super fast all together
• -And last but not least A2SD

Cons

• -root works on and off, we havent found the exact problem yet, but most of the time it works!
• -No vibrate what so ever
• -No voice search, but the voice call feature works when you hold down the call button
• -battery drains quickly for most of us
• -wifi doesnt reconnect when phone goes to slepp and then awakes again

I seriously don't know why yet but after having to wake up my phone from sleep so many times the first 3 days with R5 I no longer have the wifi sleep problem anymore. The only thing that I did to my phone was I tried to install this keyboard ( HTC_IME Keyboard V19 | xda-developers ). After that I haven't had any problems. I might be wrong but it's possible it changes something. If you have HTC_IME installed uninstall it first. Then install this. It will still fail to run but if is the reason my wifi wakes up after sleep then there is no harm in trying.

I might be wrong though. Maybe my phone is just not fully falling asleep. Battery life doesn't seem horrible but I haven't really got a chance to see

I have noticed a drop in my 3G/EDGE connection with R6 vs. stock ROM. A room in my house where I was always able to connect to the T-Mobile network before (allbeit 1 or 2 bars) I am not able to connect at all now. I also noticed at work where I used to have full coverage I only have 1 bar now. Anyone else seeing this? Is there a different radio being used in the R6?

Absolutly love this new rom kudos to bh first few days I almost went back to 1.5.My battery was really bad.But now I have gps turned off most off the day unplug the phone at 5:30 am and its now 7:10 pm and I still have 50% battery left with moderate use lots of texting and calls few apps running and web browse on occasion.Thanks again bh man for all your hard work.If I get a little extra soon Ill buy you a few beers.

Also I already said turning off GPS is a Quick Fix for Phone's that's having the sleep issue & battery Problem. Those that Do, Wait till Battery left is Calibrated before drawing conclusion about battery Life... If you've not Configured it, open Battery Left > Menu > Calibrate

Maybe it's an Older phone issue..

I havent noticed that issue. Mine is it seems like it takes forever to update the bars or the bars freeze. Like when im in a one bar zone it will stay one bar even though i move to a place with great service. Kind of like this though because it works the other way too. it freezes on 4 bars when im at work so i get service all over the building and can talk to my honey without disconnects

then apparently your buddy has something we don't, you mean to tell me he has voice search working as well! Believe me when I say I did all the things necessary to properly calibrate the battery multiple times on r5!

Whatever the issue is, I have no idea lol, and I am not going back to 1.5, so I will deal with the battery for now. Ps. on the stock touchwiz after we received the update OTA (rooted) I only lost 10% battery after waking up in the morning, but currently I loose 50%???

Seems Like where all Splitting hair's now... Voice Search is a 3rd Party app btw...
I do what I can when I can... But starting to feel like alot of User's Don't Read & starting to be Demanding over Some Features..

You have to Understand that these are Leaked Rom's... There not Updates per Samsung so there is going to be Problems still.... Find another Rom if it that Bad...

Hey im not complaining i look at the upside. had no problem using voice search on the past rom. this r6 1.6 is a stable build with no errors. I have no issues other than the bars delaying which i see as a blessing. Im the only one with a phone that works in the basement of our hospital muahahaha BH man your roms have been excellent these people need to stop whining or go back to stock..... 1.6 is amazing i finally get my free drug librarys from epocrates saved me $50 for school

P.S. Never had battery issues. Followed BHMANs directions and my battery life is that of the gods !!!!!! i do have gps always enabled along with bluetooth and wifi makes it the whole day amazing!!!!!!

Yup I've learned to live with the issues. As for battery, turned off "Enable GPS Satellite" and the no more bleeding battery. It is awesome now. Apps2SD tripping nut so I reformat my SD only to Fat32. Dont really care for it. Ill try it again later when my apps are in the 50s. So far R6 is good for me now.

But you have to Understand that Voice Search is a 3rd party app... Which may be the Issue with Bug... Forgot about Gallery Bug, but again, this is do to the Setting's of the Galaxy & having True internal Memory that the App is trying to search for Pictures on...

I did get the JC6 build Fully Smali & will start Poking me head around it when I get time..

The Next Build R7 is Mostly Permission fixes & removing old file's... Mostly a Stability fix, But I'm going to hold off till I can smali **** and Pull the Vibrate settings out of it to try and fix this Problem as well... Settings might be this Simple as well, but can't say for sure either...

Have a Full day of work Wed. & Thurs, so I'll try My best to get something out Easter Weekend for everyone

Until then, Just hang in there everyone.... I'm Trying Hard, Just lack of time at the moment to really work on things on my end..

I followed the directions in this thread and now have 1.6 on my Behold II and it is so much quicker and much more enjoyable to use! BH_Man...don't know how you do it but glad that you do! for the su problems, when i type su in terminal i get problems...so what i do is connect it to my pc and run su, then it runs perfectly....total noob here but it works for me...man i love my bh2...thanks to you BH_MAN!!!

@everyone, lets keep this an issue tracking post....not a complaint post, or a I dont know how post. This is why most devs stay quite, dont do forums, and just release things when they can... People need to change their language, attitude, and calm down. One person on the side is doing what a team on engineers and product testers would normally do. There will be problems... to my surprise not that many as the dev is working his butt off. Please, if you want stability and the ability to complain, use samsungs OEM firmware and call support. If you want an awesome firmware use bh_man 1.5. If you want cutting edge for our phone, take what he gives you, read EVERY POST, and help issue track. I dont want to loose this guy, he rocks. /RANT

Happen to me as well... Buying gde the other night.
I switched to 2g in wireless settings & it worked fine.
