lol... I knew what it meant..... Typo's are easy when you stay up all night Debugging & porting ( Trying ) & Testing, then add looking at Code source...

I think we all need AA Meeting's Regarding our Love for Android :D

I wanted to learn what you do and how you do it. So I googled what you do because "google is my friend lol" then it hit me a headache not going to try that again lol

If you want a Good starter Phone to learn Porting / Dev. on, I'd get a g1/mt3g to start out with...

Or, Spend 2 to 3 weaks Reading Lib's & Bin file's until you can Remember what they do without having to look at them.
 
So I didn't read through all the past pages so sorry if this is a double post, but has anyone had issues with the accelerometer? In both Goggles and Skymap it keeps bugging out and saying I'm holding it upside down.

Anyone else see this, or is it just me? Thanks

That is a Samsung issue..
If I knew more on how it worked I would Fix it..
 
I was wondering if we could could get the stock settings.apk added. I live in montana and have a choice to roam on Cellular One or Altell, the default is Altell and it sucks! When I go to choose network it gives me "Altell" and "blank" to choose from and there is no "Manual Network" in the galaxy settings. When I choose "search" and select the "blank" it responds with "SIM will not allow" and the phone is unlocked?
 
P.S. BH_MAN do have deodexed twcontacts.apk and twphone.apk from the stock rom? I would like to edit them and add them as an option to your 1.6 ROM but all my deodexing efforts have been unsuccessful some error with zipalign?

They Wont work... and 1.5 wont work in 1.6... The *.* file I have I can't Post..

If you're wanting those app from 1.5 I can Post them for you though...

Thanks for all the hard work folks (especially BH_MAN)!

<---- Android Newb here, the Behold 2 is my first Android phone and I am still running the 1.5 OS from Kam187's thread...

Should I hit up R6 on this thing... or is R7 looking like it might be around the corner? I have been watching these threads but havent found the time to make the switch...

Not naggin, just askin!

you dont need androidSDK to enter the commands for the gallery fix, it was posted above by someone that you can do it from the Better Terminal Emulator that comes with BH_MAN's R6...... Peace
 
Confirmed it works. Instead of doing the adb thing...I just opened Better Terminal...
Then I did cd /sdcard and then mkdir sd

Then, I exited and ran Gallery. Works perfect! Now there's only one thing I don't like and that's the vibrate. The voice search I never used and never would because I can find everything I'm looking for. I just like vibrate for when I'm at work or something. Silent is working good, but it's certainly worth the wait. Thanks again, BH_Man.

Edit: If you type "adb shell" in Better Terminal, it comes back as not found.
