Root ( Port ) Galaxy 1.6 on the Behold 2 Final

That's weird. I had same problem like you before, then i changed the usb port and done.
P/s: pull the battery out for 5 mins, then put it back and do it again. Hope this help.

TURN USB DEBUGGING ON!

Sorry caps....

Turn that on, Reboot Phone...... In terminal type SU...
USB Debugging MUST be ON!! For Root to work...

not sure if this helps out but i noticed when powering down and also powering up the phone does vibrate so vibrate is not completely dead sort of lol.
so somewhere in those files theres an unlocker coding just a matter of pin pointing it

Lol yea i also noticed that. Also if you Shutdown the phone and just press the End button for like half a sec and release it, It vibrates(It only works with the end key)! You can also do it as many times as you want.
 
ummm, i need help....i installed the drivers windows 7, trying to flash with odin how long does a typical flash take right now im showing its connected to com 5 going 5 mins green bar has not moved is my phoned ****ed now?

That is most likely a cause of the bios/firmware the phone is running. At the times those things happen the OS is not even running. We know vibrate works on the phone since that is a function it came with it's just the OS has problems getting it to work. Those vibrates when the phone boots up or shuts down wont help. They are probably written in assembly anyway since most firmware/bios are.
 
i dont understand what to do , ive got windows 7 and this is not working, is there some steps i need to follow to install the adb drivers? do i never different drivers i think the phones not flashing right in odin because of this

Pull Down the Notification Window, click USB Connected, Press Mount.

This will mount it on Windows as a Storage Device. Then use Safely Remove Hardware.

After pull down the notification window, click Turn Off USB Storage and choose Turn Off. This will remount the SDCARD on the phone.

excuse my noobness just got this phone a few hours ago, do i do this on the phone or in windows?
 
I really don't recommend rooting your phone if you haven't taken the time to read everything you can. I was a nub at this at one time too (still am to some degree), but I read everything I could for the protection of my phone.

If you've only had the phone for a couple days, install Open Home (home replacement app on the market for $2.99) or any of the other home replacement apps that will get rid of TouchWiz and make your phone faster. Then take the time to browse all of the rooting threads and begin learning the process.

I only say this so that you don't end up hurting your phone and in the end hurting your wallet.
 
the gallery still isn't working for me...
