I'm confused by this; are you saying Visual Voice Mail does not work because of this, or that you fixed Visual Voice Mail not working due to the speed hack?

What launcher is included this time? Is the stock android home screen included so I can switch back to it? I thought there were no pre-skinned themes but it says "new theme" :(. Am I going to have to go deal with Metamorph to restore the default android theme, and if so how do I get the original stock files to restore to?

OK.. Where is that? I checked the OP but don't see that.

Also what's this about "Data File That Needs Placed On /sdcard > data.zip"

What does that do? What happens if I don't do data.zip on sdcard?
 
love the rom just a few questions? How can i get the google search bar to be black? How can I get the Music apk from R8? And also SU not working on my phone! I rebooted twice already and nothing! I am guessing I lost root or what can i do to fix the issue because I cant use Titanium Backup as well? Great rom, way faster and more cleaned. Thanks BH_MAN, you made me a happy Camper!!

Now Reboot / Power Off the Phone.
 
I made a backup with Titanium Backup and after installing R10 tried to restore. It goes threw the motions but it doesn't do anything.

Anyone else having the same problem?

I have seen similar when restoring apps to R10. It also happened to me when I went to r9 from warheads.

In both cases I was restoring just apps and data to limit the amount of problems I might cause myself crossing OS versions so I guessed that was the problem.

It shows the apps as somewhat installed for me. They do not show up in the tray. When I go into the market the downloads shows them as installed but when I select the app it gives me the option to install it. Quite strange.
 
I have been on r10 for a few hours now and it seems to be working quite well for me. I have gotten my apps all setup again.

There is one app I am having problems with, Waze. I have had the same problem on all the Galaxy Rom builds with Waze. If I restore my settings using Titanium the app works for me. If I try to set it up manually it crashes the whole phone when it gets to entering my user ID.

I needed support for more than just GMail and Exchange so I downloaded k-9 mail and so far it looks very promising.

Otherwise I have not really run into any problems but I have not been using the phone for long.

I can't comment on battery life yet. Enough time has not elapsed but I do see the phone sleeping as it should so I am expecting good results.

Overall looks very promising.

Depending on the feedback I may try Take5 because, while not critical for me, Vibrate would be nice. I know it is not working in this ROM so it is not a problem. Between WarHeads and Galaxy R10, I will take R10. Either way we are much better off now compared to the "stuff" Samsung shipped the phone with.

Two thumbs up to BH_MAN et all for this ROM.
 
Just flashed R10, looks great so far and is fast!

OK, maybe it is something I missed in this thread, but why can't I enable/disable the GPS? I don't even show it in the settings after flashing.

The setting is under Security & Location for me. I have also used the powerbar widget to toggle GPS status.
 
Can anyone else get visual voicemail to work? Mine hangs at "connecting to account"... I'm gonna try a reboot

EDIT: Reboot fixed it

Also, is there a way to hide the messages from 129 everytime you do something with your voicemail? Not a big deal, just curious. THIS ROM IS KICK ASS!

download and use handcent for your mms needs. then you can go into the settings for the stock mms app and turn off notifications. this gets you set up for handcent to be the only notifications, so you will not get double notifications from the stock app.

now for the part you want to know about. long press on one of the texts from 129 and then choose blacklist from the pop up menu. you will never see those texts again!!

The back up that we made from 1.6 NoTwiz is not compatible with the galaxy roms, in order for them to work, you would need an early backup from and earlier galaxy build. At least thats the only thing I can think of, cause I have the same problem :(
 
Hey Guys\Gals. I switch to R10 and I was wondering if someone was still running the R9 build could pull the Camera app the was included (not camera magic), it had some cool little features, or at least tell me what the app name was again, LOL don't remember. Thanks.
 
Can someone help me? I just upgraded to r10 and my battery life is like nonexistant. I didnt touch my phone for 6 hours and it went down to 15%. Any suggestions
 
@bennyboy, I am charging mine too. I'm gonna guess it takes a power cycle or 2 to get just right, I think we still have to reboot after charging too, so keep that in mind.
