Root ( Port ) Galaxy 1.6 on the Behold 2 Final

Sounds Like Fat.format Binary in /system/bhmanrecovery is not there.... That is the Only way you will see 000 & for it not to Reset Correctly..

So essentially I need to re-flash the R6 kernel then?

@Behold_This: I did try a regular reboot, and it didn't work. I'm going to re-flash the kernel and see if I can fix it like Grennis.

Thanx for the tip man,but i still had that problem after it,i think it was all those things combined that fixed it,lol.

hmm, well all that matters is your setup now.

At least all those with market drama now have three ways to try to fix it...yours...mine...and bh_man's one will work. Delete worked for me, reset worked for others and both steps together worked for you. so everyone can try one way if it don't work try the next.

No I spoke too soon. After flashing the kernel, I was able to start downloading an app, but then I got "download unsuccessful". And now when I try to download again, I'm back to the "not enough space available" error, although this time it doesn't have a button to jump to Manage Applications which is kinda weird.

Anyway I'm still not able to install anything, I've tried myriad re-flashes, resets, etc

You have to Reset anytime you Flash a New Kernel.

Ok I got it to work. I re-flashed the kernel. Afterwards, I did another factory reset. In the midst of the reset, I actually hit Menu when I saw the "bh_man" words and hit Menu again when I saw the little recovery image, and then I saw some text scroll real quickly up the screen.

Now my available memory reads correctly. Try that.

Remember if Wiping / Resetting in Recovery.... You hit MENU Button..

Once in the Recovery after Hitting the Reset, Hit Menu

Sorry for being so stupid, but am I supposed to be getting a menu here? I see the BH Man screen, I hit menu, I see the restoring bar screen, I hit menu again, then the phone reboots. Is that right? Because I dont see any scrolling text.

Nothing is working for me. Another weird thing. I type in my google account info and do a normal off / on power cycle. It forgot my login! It asks for my login again.

One thing is that I used to have the BOOT / PHONE / PDA flashed from WarHeads. Do I need to flash BOOT and PHONE again with something else?

Not sure because R10 worked fine for me

I'm still getting the TTS service (process android.tts) has stopped unexpectedly when trying to get navigation!!! anyone else having the same issue on R11

I believe it has something to do with the TTS file saved on our sd cards. I'm getting the problem too. I just can't remember the name of the test to speech addon on the market for Google maps. Otherwise I'd try a new download.

I flashed R11 again and then the new kernel again.

Boot phone and it shows 136MB available, however downloads from Market give error "Download unsuccessful"

Reboot phone (soft reset)... same thing. Tried clearing Market / Market update cache but this has no effect.

Hard reset (Vol/Call/Power - menu/menu)... phone now shows 0.00B available

I was able to reproduce this! It happens every time! The hard reset failure may have something to do with the BOOT/PHONE loaded from WarHeads? How can I get back to the normal BOOT/PHONE?

I'm going back to R10

Yeah I'm not sure what's up with the android.tts force closing. It's obviously happening when the voice attempts to navigate for you. I downloaded the speech synthesis thing again, and that didn't help. Perhaps a re-install of Google Maps?

Well maybe BH_MAN will have an idea for us to fix this tts problem. Not like I'm needing to navigate anywhere tonight. :)

Okay Guys.... I Solved the Issue... It didn't like a few Changed I made in the Kernel that was Causing the issue... I'm sorry about this...

I'll have it Posted asap once I find what part of the hack is breaking things..

Cool thanks man! No hurry... I don't think anyone is in a hurry to have the navigation lady help them get around town in the middle of the night. Get some sleep! :)

I haven't flashed kernel 6 yet, so should I wait for kernel 7?
