Well it didn't work for me...anyone else have success?

One permanent solution (this is what I did) is to root browser into /system/app and delete the update apk that has the same icon as the notification .(look for the apk that has the word update in it.)

Why isnt this phone so popular?you can get it for free and with 4g lte and 1.2 ghz dual core processor and 4 inch screen it should be a wildfire!!

but still,i know lg made a bad name with past phones but we need to execute a plan to get some development on this device.

Maybe a thread on XDA developers?

This one ROM that is in the works is a port from the Lucid's other version the LG Connect. The Connect now has a couple other ROM's I believe, if we could get one I'd still be happy.

I guess this is the only lucid thread around..glad I found it..I put out a rom on the thrill called thrill seeker and I just picked up a lucid cheap so hopefully ill have a rom out soon.

I really hope so, I would love you forever, right now I picked up an HTC Inc. just for cyanogenmod.

Great news!
I hope that if anyone develops anything for Lucid it will either be with ICS or JB.

Cm7 should be possible...i'm not a big fan of running cm7 but I love to build from source so no promises but i'll try...just begining to learn the phone. totally diff. hardware then the thrill im used to. I'm working on a kernel but having a few problems packing and it doesnt have the same files i'm used to for overclocking and voltage changes. I should be able to add init.d and some diff governors and i/o sched if nothing else...I took a look at this rom and appears very nice...tip of the hat to the dev. im going to put it on my son's phone shortly and test it out. wish me luck on the cm7 I will probible need it...lol
