Accessories Portable External Speakers

As we all know, the internal speaker on the Nook is quite lacking.

It sucks.

There, I said it.

To fill the void, I found this nifty iHome brand iHM60 external speaker. It features stylish dark translucent casing, USB charging, audio output via 3.5mm standard jack, and has a nifty bass boosting expanding chamber.

We have one at work to give demos with, and I decided to get one of my own. I bought it at Bed Bath & Beyond (next door to B&N... :D) for $20 and it works great. Best of all, I get about 2-3 days minimum on a full charge.

I've got a nice set of Altec Lansing computer speakers with subwoofer I'd like to try someday, maybe when watching a movie. :D

That seems like $20 well spent!
:)

I had buyer's remorse at first, but the first time I turned it up and saw it hopping around, I was reminded of the scene from Ghostbusters 2 where they slime the toaster and it starts dancing to the music and I've loved it ever since. :D

The Altec Lansing Orbit does a great job and I prefer using rechargable AAA batteries since I can "keep on running" with a quick swapout

I've got two sets of Altec Lansing computer speakers (w/ subs), just laying around I could always use. My Touchpad has good sound (Beats audio), but the NC speaker and volume was always lacking IMO.
