ported phone number

[freon600a]

Hi.
The first thing i did when i got my DHD was to port my old phone number to it. this went without a hitch and i am using the ported number. But when i go to setting/about phone/ Phone identity the phone number that came with the phone is still there. how can i change this or is it not really important.

Many Thanks Freon

It just says 'unknown' for me. If you can make and receive phone calls using your ported number, doubt that it matters.
