Root Porting honeycomb

Honeycomb is a tablet OS. I realize the like you provided they are using the Nexus one, but the have a lot of non-working items.
 
Even if we could, layouts would then be optimized for tablets and would look horrible on our screens.

It would be hard. Possible yes, but very hard and there would be no point. The screen resolution of our phone is not one of a tablet.
