Root Porting Jellybean to the Evo V 4G?

I have a question about the roms. You know the messaging error well it's annoying and I only know the one fix with the update profile and Prl. So can the rom fix this problem?

I might be wrong but I believe we need to wait for HTC to release their source code before we can make a compatible kernel for JellyBean.

Porting cm9 to the Triumph seemed impossible but it was done near perfection.

I feel like 3d on this phone is like HDMI on triumph. It's gonna become a universally broken feature among ported ROMs. Hopefully, that's not the case.

Yeah it seems that way the only Roms that will have 3D are the ones based on what HTC releases for our phone

I just don't understand why ppl say we need the kernel source for aosp rom's.. are they not doable on the stock kernel?

Our kernel is very modified from an aosp kernel because of sense.

It might but that is the gsm version of the evo 3d not the cdma.
