possibility of joining you all

here's hoping!! Tis nice seeing you in our neck of the woods for sure. This phone is fantastic!! i had the gps issue as well and i brought it back today as a matter of fact and got it replaced. This new unit seems to work flawlessly.
 
thanks, any possibility that the gps problem might be software related rather than hardware related? i'm sure if enough people annoying LG they will look into it. if its hardware they'll throw the hundreds of complaints in the bin, cause well.... they dont give a crap if its their fault after they made the phone almost a year ago lol. If its software they could release an OTA to fix the issue. it will be just like when the ultra had that annoying screen bug until Samsung fixed it with an update.
 
I think its a possibility as it seemed right before i returned it I hadn't updated any of the apps and as such it seems that the gps worked but i was already there at that point so i figure screw it might as well get a new one lol
 
im very picky about getting this phone now, gps issue? call quality and now screen issue on some devices?? arrgg, no phones perfect but im sure there better than this.
 
Got this phone when it was first introduced. No problems at all. GPS locks on fast and stays locked on. Battery life is amazing. I could easily go two days before recharge, if I am in a strong signal area. Very good display with no problems there either. I suspect most of the phones are like mine.
 
I'll probably still give it a try when I order it on cyber Monday but I'll be getting some protection warranty no doubt.
