This thread reminds me of this pregnant chick i knew. She wanted to drink and smoke while pregnant, so she kept repeatedly asking the dr about it, call after call, visit after visit, just looking for any bit of hope. Oddly enough, the dr said "fine, drink and smoke..."

So she went back telling everyone the dr said it was ok to drink and smoke while pregnant, and of course, that's what she did.

*my point is that if you pester people long enough they'll cave in and tell you something you might wanna hear to get you to shut up. It happens in support centers daily, and even at McDonald's when they say "sure, i put the ketchup in your bag* ;)

That has a good point friend, he or she could of just been shutting me up, but I don't think my email went to the same person everytime.

That's a silly argument. I am sure they have a department where all they do is answer emails, so if they get one email or 10 million emails will obviously make no different to their workload at all. Pile em on guys, everyone send multiple emails, have at it.

This is one guy with a few emails. 5 or 6 emails is not going to overload a department.

If they don't want people to continue to send emails over and over again how about they try to ohhhhhhhhh...........

ANSWER IT THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!!

Problem solved.

Seriously, you guys can quit the whining, it really looks pathetic to tell a customer how many times they can email a CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT DEPARTMENT.

Maybe HTC will release and emails sent server so you can pester the other thousands of people that have sent multiple emails OVER THE COURSE OF A MONTH and tell them to stop bothering HTC with their stupid problems.

Apologists - Worse than fanboys.

You don't think staffing of the customer support center is in any way tied to VOLUME of emails/calls? Just sayin.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Over 5-6 emails??? Over a month? REALLY???? You guys really are desperate to prove a point here.

Oh, i don't mean specifically your email, i'm speaking of HTC in general. I'm sure when they get bombarded with emails/calls about the same subject so much, they just start telling people what they wanna hear at some point be it true or not. Typical customer service from my experience.

Would not surprise me if VZW rolls out Froyo before Sprint. Sprint's content with having Evo as the first "4G" but doesn't know how to build on that lead. Evo with Froyo will be tough to beat.

I'm pretty sure you're right. Sprint hasn't been that good with Android updates (see Hero and Moment) and even announced that the Samsung Epic will come with Android 2.1. If that is slated to (supposedly) come out by August 20, that probably means Sprint's froyo roll out will be after that. I hope I'm wrong though. Someone please tell me it's coming next week :D

customer service is a bit dense. i had a 4g issue last night (it wouldn't load pages on my phone, but the gf's phone worked) called customer service, explained the issue. she put me on hold, called tech. that told me somebody would call back. never got a call back. thankfully, the network started to work again.
