Possible it won't be announced for Verizon today?

Seems to make sense, since would be odd for VZW to team with Moto today, while Google and Sammy announce in Korea. More likely the event is 80% ICS and 20% Nexus. Perhaps the usual "Carriers to be announced in the future".

If this device really has the 4460, perhaps then around December launch in the US, rather than early November. Not long to find out!

I figured this from the get-go since VZW is apparently not there. If folks are assuming a VZW launch will be announced today, they might be let down, since does not appear to add up.
 
Yea I can't see vzw making an announcement from Hong Kong? Makes zero sense...

And with this crappy Razr thing making its debut today, I would bet we don't hear anything out of vzw camp about availability for this thing for at least a month or two. I know the Prime is for the tech geeks, and the Razr for the masses, but this Razr will be they're DROID Flagship and get most of the attention from them, they could care less about getting us pure ICS. Ughhhhh, very sad, but probably true! We'll see at 10 tonight.

December, right before the Holidays makes more sense! Maybe Black Friday at the earliest...

I just don't see vzw letting 2 really BIG devices drop at the same time.

Now i'm officially bummed!

So does anyone have any interest in this Razr/Spyder DROID HD thing right now??? Lmaooo...
 
All kind of rumors, but I see no way a 1.5ghz OMAP in the US until December.

1.2ghz has a good shot for November.

Trophynuts caught me keep mentioning Korea instead of Hong Kong. Considering the changing info, par for the course ;)
 
The US is a third world nation in the cell phone arena. Other countries get phones well before the US. SG2 for an example.

First time poster but I found this interesting. I'd post a link but I can't. Just check the front page of phandroid considering first time posters are barred from posting links.
 
This event was originally supposed to take place in San Diego last week with announcement on verizon availability. They just rescheduled it to wireless conference in Hong Kong and Moto/Verizon already scheduled Razr event ahead of that. It's just coincidence. I'm pretty sure Nexus will hit verizon by mid November at the latest.
 
Considering VZW was with Moto announcing the Razr today and obviously are putting a lot of PR behind it, folks should not be surprised there was no VZW announcement. That seemed obvious, but I can appreciate enthusiasm.
 
P3Droid tweeted that the absence of mentioning Verizon was intentional and not to worry. Droid Life or Android Police just posted a picture of a menu of the GN that said Verizon on it. It's only a matter of time :)
 
No vzw mention! But they said Nov for all carriers... LTE and HSPA models...

So I'd say Verizon is getting it at some time in November...Hopefully ...lol
