Ok, ladies and gents, my config is as follows:
Phone: Samsung Admire for MetroPCS
Carrier: See above
ROM: O.A. 2.3
Recently, I left a primarily MetroPCS area in Northeast Texas/Southwest Arkansas, for the Cricket capitol of Texas, San Antonio... I've had great cell coverage, etc. with roaming, and can send messages ok, for the most part (MMS will not work, regardless of APN changes, apparently) but I cannot recieve any texts at all.
Calling Metro using the toll-free is my only option for standard support, and they just tell me that I need to switch to Cricket, or move to a Metro supported area.
Any ideas as to what the issue might be? I figure it could just be that the roaming between Cricket and Sprint, instead of having Metro to connect to, bars me from sending texts (similar to the issues I had when roaming to Verizon), but I was looking for anyone that might know what's up. Any help would be appreciated. No rush, though.
