Root Possible Noob question: Re-Activating Rooted MT

Ok, I bought the MT a few weeks back for my son. I activated it with his number from his Optimus V. Since his Optimus was in better shape than mine I switched to his Optimus. Ok, I rooted and installed CM7-Reloaded on the MT for him and did a root only (no custom ROM) on the Optimus V. Now, my son does not like the size of the MT and I do so I tried to do a simple activation on the Optimus V to swap back and it tells me to "contact customer service" and the MT with CM7 does not have an "activate" button on it.

So, in a nutshell I need to swap these phones back. :confused:Any help would be appreciated. I have searched the threads but everything I've found has been for the EVO.

To activate the triumph (or switch it which requires activation) you have to be on a stock based ROM.

I bought my phone used, and it was rooted to Here is what i did. Downloaded a stock nanroid backup and posted it on clockworkmod/backup/ on my SD card, Download along with guide to revert back can be found here Revert Your Motorola Triumph to the Stock Rom - YouTube . Once your back in stock and you input the meid of the p-hone to swap, virgin will tell you to go to the phone app and dial ##847446# and click activate, that's where i got in to trouble i clicked activate, and nothing would happen i would just get a contact virgin for assistance message. Now what you need to do is reset the MDN and MSID to do this go to edit and type 0000000000 for MDN and for the MEID, then click done and it should reboot the phone, if it doesnt make sure to restart it, now go ahead and dial ##846446# and go ahead and click activate, it should now activate. Again this solved my problem. Hope that helps.
