Take it for what it is worth, (I don't post much, just read) but just saw this.. Hoping it is not valid at all!

More news for Thunderbolt Fans. It appears the HTC Thunderbolt release date might be up to four months away. Initially Verizon Wireless stated they anticipated a first quarter release of the new 4G LTE Android Smartphone, but now it has been announced that Verizon Wireless is anticipating the phone to be out by the first half of the year, meaning the end of second quarter.

Dear god...enough of the same article! Sorry to be an ass or whatever, but this horse has been beat to death in the last day or two...The guy never mentioned the TB by name, and used very vague descriptions. It doesnt mean anything!
 
This has been discussed time and time again. These articles are taking the info out of context. LTE "smartphones" as in plural are expected to hit by the end of the second quarter. Thunderbolt is not specifically mentioned and thus is still on track to release by the end of Q1. Thank you and goodnight to you sirr!!!!

another blogger trying to spin the article in their own way. Seriously the guy said all the lte smartphones will be out by the end of the first half. What did he say wrong? I doubt he was talking about thunderbolt specifically.
 
Sorry, apparently based on your comments there is another version of this article. I just saw this one and since it says they projected Q1 for the 4G LTE Android Smartphone (VZW doesn't have any others up to bat right?) I took this as Thunderbolt. If wrong, my apologies!

No worries man, everyone on here has just been losing their minds the last week or two...just looking to tear any fake info apart at this point. I see what your saying about it being HTC specific now, but I think the original article this blog is referencing mentions multiple phones, not just the thunderbolt or any other specific phone.

No worries.. I hear ya, and it is exactly why I don't post much.. Nothing out there ever seems concrete (especially when it comes to vzw launches).. Just saw it and thought I would throw it out there, I am in the same boat waiting. At least I have my Xoom to keep me occupied so that helps!

Lucky bastard, I havent had a chance to mess around with one of those yet. Does it live up to the hype?
 
I have got to say, it is new so there are some things that will be worked out I am sure, but when they are.. It is going to be flash (pun intended)! I am getting ready to start learning to write code to integrate it into our VoIP phone systems we sell and if it works it will be tits!

Awesome, I'm glad to hear there's an Android tablet truly capable of competing with the iPad 2! Hopefully Android will catch up in that market as well
