I used the manual version so I can vouch for that.

It isn't working for me for some reason. Neither option.

It isn't working for me for some reason. Neither option.

Check that:

1) You have USB debugging enabled.
2) You have the USB set to "charge only"
3) When you plug it in as charge only drivers install successfully
4) You are plugging directly into the usb on the motherboard (back of the computer). Sometimes front USB ports and usb hubs can make these kind of things not work.

Are you running the batch file as administrator (if you're using the one click method). Depending on how you have your UAC set (if you are on Vista or Win7) it can mess up things like this.
