I've searched the web (including this forum) but I can't find a method to root the Kindle Fire 2 with software version 10.5.1. (Apparently earlier software versions were rootable.) Help?
On your KF2 open your browser and go to Kingroot website and download the android version.
After its done downloading install the apk and run Kingroot. It will say that Root Access is Unavailable but, just click the "try to root" button and let it do its thing and you'll be rooted. You can install ES File Explorer and grant root permission or install a root checker to verify that its rooted.
