Possible "Trick" To Locating An Evo

When I wanted the Evo, no one had one anywhere. I found out about the Employee Value Program (EVP) and used that site. I had the phone in a couple of days.
The wife liked mine so much, she wants one too. I called Sprint to add a line and got a run around about no Evos being available. They tried to get me to take another phone. I said no and they said they'd call me when they became available.
I got a hold of EVP again and they will ship her an Evo in a week.

If you qualify, it may work.

Employee Value Program - Home -

Just got a confirmation email. Now they are saying 3-5 days to ship. :)

Just got another email, the phone has shipped. :) :)

Still have to deal with the rebate BS.

If you're waiting anyways it's worth hitting up Best Buy and getting it for $199 right then and there.

I got my first two via EVP, rebate got denied because I waited for the the 30 day trial to mail in the rebates. Sucks, but oh well.

#3 I got at Best Buy for $199 up front. Much easier, just dodge the hard sell of accessories etc.

I tried using my work email and it worked!

But I placed my order on Monday; they didn't take my credit card information. Just my PIN and other information, but without paying, they took my order.

The confirmation page said they would contact me shortly but it's been 2 days now and no one's called.

What's up??
