I swear, every one I meet lately seems to have something wrong or weird going on with their phone, & somehow starts telling me about it, & ends up asking me to PLEASE see if I can find a solution & fix it!!!
A friend has a recently bought Cricket Desire C. Shes has things installed on it that she hasnt installed nor did they come preinstalled(bloatware). She also has various funky things happen to her internet connection (even more screwy than Crickets service is anyhow). She has had weird things happen with text messages & calls too. I forgot where or what program possibly it was, but she had opened some "other users"-type settings in something, & it listed 2 people (whom she knows) as some sort of streaming or sharing data. And some other miscellaneous odd stuff. Somehow her Lookout security program seems to have mysteriously gotten uninstalled at some point too.
Is there any way to find out if there is anyone remotely accessing any of her stuff (not meaning software developers, etc... I'm referring to finding out if possibly someone shes acquainted with)??? What do we need to get/do?
UPDATE:
Another new weird event just happened with it. She had replied to a text msg someone had sent to her. However, somehow instead her landlord received it! When you open up her conversation thread with the friend she intended to be the message receiver, it shows the conversation like normal (example: Jane: blah blah blah
Me: blah bklah
Jane: blah blah blah
Me:blah)
But at the very top of page it shows her landlords name & number!!! She still receives the friends texts like usual, but when she sends one back, it goes to her landlords number.
What is ironic is me nor ANY one else Ive talked to has ever heard of someones phone doing that... EXCEPT for about a week ago! A week or so ago a mutual friend of hers & mine had tried to tell me that her new Cricket has been doing some really weird stuff on its own. She started showing me a few of her texts threads that had the same weird problem, including my texts. It showed next to my name the message that I had sent her, but then it showed her reply back to me, which I NEVER received. Up at top instead of my name/#, it showed some1 elses AND when she tries to text me back, the other person is who it gets sent to.I hadnt ever heard of someones phone doing this. ANY clue why or How to fix it?
