Post 2.2 update.zip?

You guys think someone will post the update.zip for the new 2.2 that comes out tomorrow, so people like me who installed the leaked 2.2 and get the official OTA 2.2 without reverting back to 2.1?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it will matter. Unless I'm being a total idiot, those updates update the firmware based on what's expected to be there knowing what the last version was, and so an update.zip can't update a version it's not intended for.

I'm somewhat speculating based on my understanding of how OTA updating works, the update.zip file might behave differently.

Flashed the sbf just a few hours ago. Simplest, easiest thing in the world. Don't be afraid of the sbf. It is your friend. It loves you.

This is my understanding too... And like the previous mentioned, SBF is very easy to do.

Is there a version to sbf that is identical to stock? Doesn't the fact that it's deodexed mean it's different from stock and essentially a new rom?

I tried the rootzwiki the linux way, I have a mac so i figured it was the same...It all worked until it asked me for a password. I guess it doesnt work on macs I read though....so I guess I will need a windows or linux machine, please correct me if I am wrong

Based on what's gone on so far last night, is this still a possible upgrade path? Can we expect an upgrade.zip that will do this soon?

there is no SBF for 2.2 and those trying to SBF the 2.2 with the 2.1 SBF will find their phones bricked.. indefinitely.

I used the 2.1 SBF on windows and it wasnt hard to do at all, glad I did it and now im running the official OTA 2.2!
