Mine is sitting at between 280 and 800 back and forth. I have also notice my phone has been charging for three hours now from dead and its only at 80% is that normal?

Check accounts and sync. I had multiple accounts set to sync every hour...even after the RUU factory reset upgrade process.
My battery life is great even running the Nexus live wallpaper.

I ruu'ed and my battery life is about the same.
What app are you guys using to view cpu speed?

Nifty. Is there any app that will display those system stats in the utility bar (or whatever its called) at the top of the phone?
I just turned off, Background data. Is that what you're talking about? Will it really effect it too much?Check accounts and sync. I had multiple accounts set to sync every hour...even after the RUU factory reset upgrade process.

I did RUU yesterday @ 10am, by 3am when I got home, it was 11%. I worked 8 hours too without using the phone. Horrible battery life.
Anyway, I dealt with Verizon today at the store and they sucked, so I called and they sent me a free 2150MAH n cover.
I just did all of what you said. Whats the purpose of always-on mobile data?I think he meant the different syncs specifically. Most people don't want ALL of those things syncing ( Such as me. I disabled News, Stock, and Weather syncs. ) Also, check the frequencies for the updates. My Twitter was set to something like 5 mins and I really don't care much about twitter, so I changed it to 4 hours.
Also, don't forget about "Enable Always-On Mobile Data" under Wireless and Networks->Mobile Networks. If you don't use Push emails then you should be able to disable this.
Mine had decreased as well, I used the update.zip file. It also seemed to take a longer to charge this time. Last time I had battery life issues, I did a hard reset and it took care of the problem.
If we do a hard reset, does it go back to 2.1 or stay with 2.2?

What did I just turn off? lol

Is there a chance that those of you who are experiencing worse battery issues are still running task killers?
I just deleted my task killer...gonna see how much it affects anything...after deleting i already noticed the battery draining a lot faster so...idk if im gonna buy into the hype yet.
I noticed the same thing in System Panel, but now I'm thinking that System Panel itself is banging the CPU more in Froyo than it did before. If you look at the line on the left next to System Panel in the active apps list, you'll see that it's going up and down quite a bit.Nifty.
