Help Post GB, GMail Issues

So I recently upgraded my Inc to 2.3.4. Previously on 2.2 I had no problems with GMail. After updating to GB I cannot log into my .edu GMail account anymore, does anyone else have this problem?

My edu account is GMail based and worked fine with GMail on 2.2. I did a factory reset before installing GB and it still doesn't want to link it to my edu GMail. GMail is saying 'wrong username/password combination' - but the credentials are correct, I am able to login fine through the browser. Also my gmail account does not need a '2 step password' for mobile devices, I already checked.

I remember someone else having a similar issue a while back, but can't remember what the resolution was. I'll see if i can find the thread.

Thanks for your reply sdrawkcab. Unfortunately neither of those solutions helped. But I did manage to solve the problem by playing with the phone settings.

SOLVED:
So for some reason 3G was not letting me create a second GMail account. All I did was turn off 3G and use WiFi to add another GMail account and it worked. I don't know exactly why my phone said 'wrong username/pass combination' on 3G. Hopefully this helps other people with the same problem.
