Post here if you received the OTA update.

thanks for the tip about calling and making sure they had the correct iemi number mine was wrong. I was told the same thing patch is being sent out in batches. He said to shut off my phone once in a while that might help whatever
 
I did the dial code, (it blanked after the last *) called 611 got customer care. Asked to check my imei, (I've bricked 2 of these) it was wrong so we got that corrected. He said it would be 2 to 24 hrs to get into system. He knew nothing about any bug fix, patch, update or whatever you may call it.
If somone could post what I need to do to capture this update, when I get it,or for anyone getting it. Better to know in advance then to loose the chance. thanks
 
No update for me either after the 12hr wait.

I did speak to a T-Mobile tech and got my IMEI fixed (also had my phone replaced) and he told me that I should now receive the update shortly. I doubt that.
Well I've waited three months already, so a couple more days won't hurt.
 
Well, I got OTA update today at 2:00pm Chicago time.:) However, my phone was off charging so update started soon after i boot it up at 2:00pm. I saw the mentioned RED/BLUE arrow indicator in left upper corner and my 3G was sending/receiving for about 3-5 minutes. All this was followed by "Congratulation...." message. I did put my install on hold for few hours so if anybody has an idea of dumping/saving this update let me know.

More info: purchased on Feb.17th 2010 or so. ***before update*** Baseband version T939UVIJ6 , Kernel version 2.6.27 behold@sep-01 #1, Build number 76XXCSDCBALUM6375, IMEI last 4# 8806.

how is this fair i am in chicago too but bought mine in november.
 
Scan you sdcard for any zip files. Or with astro file manager, check out the other filesystems for any zip files. Though thats if update shows up as a zip file, though my understanding is the form of any update is to be called update.zip, though could be wrong.
 
using androzip i found tn55-android-Houdini.apk @ /sdcard/download

Does anybody know if this is it. When I "click" on it it let's me to follwoing: install, extract, view, send
 
OK, ASTRO found following .zip's:

/etc/security/otacerts.zip
/system/etc/security/otacerts.zip

Not it...these were modified in 2009
 
Can one of you do a system dump so we can get some kind of feasible patch for those of use that haven't gotten this mythical and elusive update.
 
@shawn1224....this mythical update..haha definitly true. I still havent recieved my update (NJ) and have to contact tmobile to get my imem number checked out, whatever that means. I was told yesterday that you will most likely get the update when you turn on and off the phone so Im guessing that the case.
 
I need some help please. I bought the BH2 on ebay and been using it for 3months. I do not have the OTA update yet. Im still currently using Tmobile Web @ 5.99, the ultra old internet service plan. But on my phone I am able to get 3G internet speed which I thought was good deal. This afternoon I called tmobile tech and asked him y I havnt got my update yet and he said I need the android data service in order to get it. Is that true or he just want me to pay extra?

PS. The tech mention he also have an BH2 and just got his OTA update this morning (3/2/10) but he wasnt able to update since he didnt have the charger with him.
 
So it's Wed. March 3rd, 5 days after the last day of the update and I STILL have not received it yet. Ic alled and talked to an Android rep who was unaware that anyone was having problems receiving it. He save me the Samsung number which I know will be a waste of time sine they will tell me it's tmo or Android pushing it out. F this I am rooting it tonight.
 
Heys guys I spoke to tmobile and several different android representatives within the last few days. It seems that every person I talk to give me different answers. The last guy said the newer behold 2's take longer to recieve the update. I purchased mine early feb 2010 and have gotten no update. I live in NJ, anyone get that update on the east coast? My imem number is correct and he said i should get the update this week. If I dont get it, tmobile will replace my phone with a new one that he said would certaintly get the update and he told me they would call me on the 5th to check the status of what happened.
