Post pictures you've taken with the camera

Jeep Cherokee Limited! High five, me too

A dirty BMW just means that you drive it, as opposed to being driven in it. I drive a 1988 750iL, but she (her name is Giselda) isn't quite pampered enough for internet spotlight. I've got a picture of my girlfriend's Jeep, though...

Also, I seem to get that grey on all of my photos that I upload to Picasa. Any ideas?

The grey looks like your upload didn't finish.

To be quite honest, at first I didn't see the big deal of our 8mp camera. It wasn't until I compared it to other top smart phones (i.e. iPhone 3Gs, Motorola Droid, and Nexus 1) that I saw how beautifully the Incredible took pictures! Also, the AMOLED screen plays a huge part in how beautifully pictures and movies are played (compared to the iPhone and the Droid). I didn't think much of it until I compared it to those phones side by side, and now I have a whole new appreciation for our Incredibles. Just my .02!

That is what I thought. I've uploaded all of my pictures to Picasa via the phone over wifi. They were all taken to simply test the camera on the phone, so it isn't really a big deal to me. It would make me a little sad if I couldn't upload to Picasa from my phone anymore. Adding a step where I needed to copy them to my PC first would be a huge buzzkill.

Anyone else have this or similar issues with uploading from the phone?

Here's a quick snap, from a vehicle moving 50 mph.

Here's the same photo, edited 100% on my Incredible with PicSay Pro:

Okay, I really, REALLY, need some help here.

No matter how steady I make my hands or how much I crank the ISO and kill the auto focus, nothing seems to make the pictures consistently good looking. Here and there I will get a good shot, but I'm not a pro photographer and I'm not taking 30 pictures of the same thing. This is beginning to really frustrate me.

I have managed a fourth round of pictures with the phone.

It has become apparent that I either can't work the camera or I'm missing something terribly simple in taking good pictures with this phone. Could be that my camera is broken or just sucks, I don't know. I can't really take it back, since there don't seem to be any around to exchange it with anyway. I'm not sure that the camera quality is a reason to return this phone, but it is painfully annoying trying to get a good picture.

I have 3 other albums, all of them were taken on the phone and then uploaded to Picasa via Picasa Tool app. The bottoms looked chopped, so I manually grabbed the fourth one from the phone. Here are the previous 3:

And here is one more I took the other morning on the lake, which is currently my wallpaper on my DInc;)

Don't have my Dinc yet, so I haven't had a chance to play around with the camera...

From what I see from your albums, you need make sure the lens is clean, and avoid the digital zooming. That should get rid of some of the graininess.

Also, as others have suggested, turning down the sharpness seems to be a good thing as well.

Could you link some of your pro photos? I'd like to see how much difference the camera can make.

Good luck!
