Root post update: can I change/remove this lockscreen wallpaper?

this new update is nice, but I kinda find the bright radiating rays lockscreen wallpaper to be a bit annoying. is there a way to change it and only it?

or remove it so its just the lock UI elements imposed over my homescreen wallpaper?

I have the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy Prevail. Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to change the awful lock screen wallpaper. One work around is changing your lock screen to use a pattern rather than password of pin.
