Post your Android Desktop

Love that background since I am from Chicago. Can you share?

Here ya go...

I have been requested to make the wallpaper completely generic, so here it is.
The spacing between shortcuts has also been improved to position transparent Desktop Visualiser widgets easier.
The top row of shortcuts should have the widgets immediately above them etc
The different coloured highlighter docks are available from Dropbox Gallery or from the XDA post (can't seem to upload a zip file here anymore!)

How do you set up "invisible" widgets to lay over the text links? Seems like Desktop Visualizer widgets requires an icon image. Or am I misunderstanding how this is set up?

Current home screen.....

I am looking for 'typoweather' . I've seen it but can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having trouble posting my desktop. I took the screenshot but I can't for the life of me figure out how to upload the photo to the actual post. Is all I have to do is post the photo as an attachment? Any help would be appreciated.

MetroDroid:
A new theme I've been working on using WP7 resources.

(The coolest part is that each homescreen acts like an integrated hub. The arrows next to the options on the first two screens take you to the corresponding home page and the back arrows take you back. It's actually functional, and cuts out load time for apps since the "hubs" are widget based.)

MetroStation Icons by =yankoa
WP7 font "Segeo WP"

- The icons in the circle are separate widgets / shortcuts.
- Screen set to 7 x 10 col / rows
- Desktop Visualiser Widgets 2x2 for inner circle images
- Images designed at 170 x 157 pixels
- Shrotcuts for the text in the circle are placed just outside the circle using Desktop Vis Small 1 x 1 Widget so as not to interfere with Circle Widgets inside the circle.

Thanks mykela. Everyone here produces their own personal creativity, which makes this so incredible.
:) that's what makes this so entertaining :
I thought my 'pinball' effort would be good for a while, then the 'school teacher' should have lasted at least a couple of weeks, but didn't!

The nice thing about this one is the shortcuts are very accessible and work without interfering with each other.

I can't post attachments here for some reason, but the files are on the XDA post.

Appreciate your comments, kindly.

Cheers

Thank you for your kind words.
No I am not a graphic designer, perhaps creative at times.
I simply try to put across an idea that hopefully works on the screen.
Sometimes I'm successful, and sometimes not. :)
Pleased you enjoy the work.
If there is anything I do that you want modified eg changing text shortcuts in the latest 'writing' theme, let me know and I will try and oblige.
Cheers

Sweet wallpaper and dock.

Can you modify the dock to have P (phone), T (texts), M (music), and W (web) in the yellow and blue highlighter?

Hi Kaessa - currently using your "simple" text icons - love them! I'm wondering if you know of or would be willing to create something similar but reflective? "Simple Reflective" - has a nice zen ring, no? :)

I might look at doing that for my next set. No guarantees, I do these as I have the energy.

Glad you like them! :D

Here are all screens. Moving from screen to screen with the circle filling with different images works out well.

Please refer earlier post if interested in detail.
