My fave so far!

A lot of these screen shots are from devices other than Ascends. Is it possible to get similar notification bars (some are very colorful and have cooler icons than my Ascend's NB. I have looked in the market for customizable NBs but cant find anything that "works" well.

I really like this lighter version! I'm gonna try and put it on my device (once I get this frickin' multi live wallpaper issue fixed)

For now, I have a very simple layout.

Widgets:
Launcher Pro plus (7x7 grid)
Beautiful Widgets (weather + toggle)
SMS unread count (with blank icon)
Minimalistic text widget (clock)
Circle Battery Widget
All text + heart icons placed with Desktop Visualizer
Traffic counter
Smart shortcuts (used as folders)

Wallpapers from the HD Rare black wallpapers app on the Market, there's 2 volumes to the app.

I'm definately not laughing at all! Looks actually really nice for a first start
I personally think everyone should design their homescreen the way THEY like it and how THEY feel the most comfortable using it and not just for the sake of some "fancy" artsy creation or stuff... So, you go girl! Do your thing!

Two apps that you might like: circle launcher and smart shortcuts. They are really helpful when it comes to use lots of apps or contacts on the homescreen but you don't wanna waste much space. It's really great stuff! For example in this screenshot, the little pink heart is actually all my family members contacts. When I click on it, the contacts I chose beforehand are popping up. I used circle launcher for that.

Hi Junior!!! Thanks so much! I'm going to be working up a tutorial for our little Ascend forum on how to do this so that our folks can learn how too.

Another thing that's really great is that you don't have to be rooted to do most of this stuff.
