@trick202

Yeah, I'll second that.

I was going to have a mess with ahome, but don't know if it's worth it with the sense UI on my hero.

Anyone?

I really like the HTC Sense Home on my Eris (stock home- I think), but I wound up changing to Open Home because then I can customize icons and I don't need a Google Search Bar because it is on every page of my desktop in a really small button on the lower left side. I also like the drawer more and I can name my screens, and have more screens than stock (Open Home goes to seven and you can get TEN with AHome!).

Here are my screens, though they are constantly changing. I am really looking for just the right font but have so far settled on the one shown.

I would be interested in the method of changing the font and the font-set as well. I am using a rooted Incredible. Thx!!

P.S. Sweet Contacts icon, is that something you did, or stock to your device?

You've got to be shitting me right? You're requesting something and saying if people fulfill your request, you're going to post a screenshot of your desktop....?

@wjcott

I love that font! I didn't know you could change the font in the notification bar! Sweet! Is that a moto droid?

Thanks. This is from a Nexus One, and the guide I used is at How to change fonts in Android without font management tool?. The font in these screen shots is DreamerOne, found at one of the free font sites. When picking a font, you will need to find one that is roughly the same, size-wise, point for point, since the UI fields in Android are static in size. Also, I have found a little "flair" goes a long way. Any font that has a lot of style to it may be difficult to ready when it is filling the screen in 12pt print.

As for the Contacts icon, it is stock N1 FRF83, as far as I can tell (never gave it much thought).

well... Yes i would have to have those items i mentioned if not i wouldn't be done with my desktop

Thanks for the info. I guess I won't be using the icon (not the same as stock Incredible has), but it does look cool!!

if you dont mind spending 99c-1.99 usd for a paid app search for folder organizer lite in the market you can apply custom icons to apps and folders etc with it

yes but did i say you/all where going to nope i was just saying that i would once it was done. Its as simple as that. and yes i should of used different wording in the post but i was tired and honestly i dont care. Back to posting shots
