Moto G4 using Nova Launcher Prime. Clock widget is the stock clock widget for the Moto Z. I like the stock clock widget for the Moto G fine enough, but I think it's kind of boring. I've always liked the stock clock widget for the Moto Z so when I found it as an .apk on the net I downloaded it. Music widget is from PlayerPro. Battery widget, top left corner, is from Jinasys as I don't like the stock indicator with the Moto G4, top right, as I prefer an actual number to just an indicator. Through Nova Launcher I've re-tasked the Home Button to open the App Drawer - I only have two pages so I don't really need a Home button - and I make use Nova's gestures and swipe on apps/folders to get them to do special things. Allows me to hide things and not clutter up the place... Glasklart icon pack for near transparency. Many of my pics I use for wallpaper come from Pinterest or my Flickr account, the former such as this Steampunk related pic of a pretty girl dressed up and next to a steam locomotive or the later such as the pretty model.

Try the Smoke and Glass icon pack - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hooolm.smokeandglass - or the Krom icon pack - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.krom.icons.pack...

It may not have any color in them, but if you use a picture like I do then you could try the Glasklart icon pack so your icons don't get in the way of your wallpaper...

Thanks Kblanco i tried the free Krom icon pack and for the clock ive used One more clock widget. Looks much better than my previous one Neon icons with Squircle icons.

I tried having my display portrait way but landscape looks better on my tablet.

Moto G4 with Nova Launcher Prime. Battery icon, top Left, from Jinasys via the Play Store as I prefer an actual percentage as opposed to the standard depiction, top Right. Clock widget is from the Moto Z. I like the clock widget that comes with the Moto G4 just fine, but I think it's a bit boring. I found the Moto Z widget while surfing the net and immediately downloaded it. Music player widget from PlayerPro. The nearly clear icon pack is the Glasklart icon pack, the black circular icon pack is the 3K SR Black icon pack.

Opting to follow an example in an Android setup short on a YouTube channel that I follow, I split the wallpaper between an upper half showing my pic, squared not cropped, and a lower black half so that the icons don’t intrude into the pic. Using Nova Launcher Prime I’ve made several of the icons and folders respond to swipe gestures as well as also taken advantage of swipe gestures on the wallpaper itself to access things such as Quickpic, Flickr and Google Photos. Both so as to cut down on the number of icons necessary to be on the screen. Select apps I rarely use I left in the app drawer.

The first set of pics is described as a young girl, goth in Pinterest. The second set of pics is a model in an advertisement that I found for a local high end clothing store in the Highland Park / Northpark area of Dallas.

Moto G5 Plus, space grey with Nova Launcher Prime. Wallpaper is a European teen from a photoshoot that I grabbed from Pinterest (her name is Imogen, I like her wardrobe). Icon pack is the 3K Black icon pack put on the lower half of the display so as to show off the majority of the picture I choose. The clock widget is from the Moto Z which I downloaded the apk that someone had posted to XDA Developers site. The battery widget below that is from Jinasys via the Play Store. I like a percentage rather than just a graphical depiction, I've used their app for years and have just recently gotten into playing with the included widget (I thought it was static, but surprise you can customize it for color, font, script, line thickness and whether its continuous or dashed and stuff...). The music widget on the third pic is from Player Pro and the four circles at the top Left and Right are playlist selectors in folders for easy access when operating with one hand - either left or right. I've also heavily used gestures with Nova Launcher to minimize things that would otherwise have to have an icon. I've also removed the dock for the extra screen space, I only have three pages so my Calendar, Dialer, Text and Camera are only a swipe away...

Incidentally, the album cover on the music widget I custome made using Google Snapseed. I've been having fun making my own album covers for musical albums whose covers I don't especially care for...
