Any Cyanogen based ROM should have that ability, it's under User Interface/Status Bar on KaosFroyo for Eris.

Not exactly like in the image, but there is a great mod for numeric battery readout with many colors available (I am testing a custom color picker one now) but it is pretty cool!!

ForceField.....I notice in your lockscreen you have the place that normally shows Verizon on mine saying something else....how do you do that (or is that just your carrier's name)? It reminds me of an app I used to use for WinMo (Personalizer) that I have been looking for in the Android world, basically to change the carrier name to whatever you want.

Hi syrguy1969.
This is only the name of my carrier.I was also using Personalizer to change the name of the operator in WinMo and after a lot of googling and binging I found for Android an application capable of only changing the color of the text but not the text itself.I wasn't much interested so I forgot the name.Sorry,I wish that I was a better help

You need to edit your eri.xml file.

This is my most favorite thread out of everything here.
Just amazing how each one of us has the same thing and what we can create from it.
 
Here's my newest config. All the business and finance related stuff is on the left side screens, and the news, media and games are on the right side screens. The top row of images are the 3 launcher docks from LauncherPro and my home screen. Second row is my left side screens, third is right side screens. Bottom is lock screen.
