Just got my evo the other day, and am still in the process of setting up my screens, but here are a few of my screens. Shot #3 is my main screen, and I'm using widget locker for my lock screen.

The app called "screenshot" works for non-rooted evo's

And yes, my weather widget is a "Beautiful Widgets" weather and clock widget. It cost me like 2 dollars in the Android market and i can customize the transparency on it

Running an unrooted HTC Incredible with LauncherPro Plus, Desktop Visualizer for all of the image icons, SwitchPro to toggle everything, and Beautiful Widgets on the lock screen.

The live wallpaper is WorldView Live Wallpaper by Revision Zero. I also like Earth Live Wallpaper 2 by unixseb.

I installed your lovely text icons but when I place them on my dock, they don't perform the function. They don't do anything. What am I doing wrong?

yep! The wallpaper is a live wallpaper from the market called "living music". It takes the id3 tags of the music on your phone to do the same thing the mac screensaver does. It also let's you desaturate them and put a moving glow so that it looks a lot like zune. The icons are mine, and can be downloaded if you search the forum to find them lol. If I weren't on my phone I'd link you to them lol. Thanks for the compliment!

If you're using LauncherPro, you just have to long-press the icon and select either [Change shortcut] for the "press" action or [Swipe gesture action] for the "swipe up" action. Then just select a shortcut, app, or action from the popup menu to assign it to the icon.

I'm not sure what you mean by "badges", but Desktop Visualizer can use virtually any image for an icon. If you want to make your own, just size the images correctly to Desktop Visualizer's widget sizes.

It looks like your phone has the same resolution as the HTC Eris. Try these dimensions:
