I was roaming around to see if there were any battery recs and stumbled onto this thread.

Woooooo!!!!!

Wow! I was a bit iffy about the battery that was linked, but man, the results look amazing. I tend to use social media apps (Instagram and Twitter) and i've been trying to find a battery that might be able to handle that a bit more, because once i switch to the mobile network and use apps, the battery dwindles away rather quickly. I've done just about everything i can do to maintain a decent battery life with my stock battery, including training, lowering the screen brightness, avoiding using the 4G function, and using the apps less, but in simply using the mobile network alone while running errands or being out in general, it will drain faster than i'd like. I feel like i constantly have to be within reach of a charger a lot of the time.

Anyway, seeing as you guys seem to be successful with this battery, i might give it a shot myself!

Quite a few years ago I was involved in selling all king of lipo battery's for phones, camcorders, Etc. If you could think of it I had a vendor to go to to get a battery for you. All the battery's are make in roughly 4 different whorehouse and relabeled as the customer wants. So just because it has a cheese label like these do does not mean they are not kigh quality cells. There is a very competive market when it comes to selling batterys.

1day?!??

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the portable battery chargers are good? I came across this one:

I'm going out of the country for a few months next month, hence why i'm looking for good battery/backup to begin with.

I see. Wow, one full day!

Judging the performance of a battery based on screen shots of battery usage or various other ways that they're portrayed (such as saying "under [heavy/light/moderate] usage") is quite ambiguous. There are so many factors that are never accounted for that alters the end result including people’s perception of heavy/light/moderate usage. Though there are factors in the screen shot that suggest the battery has been under a "good amount" of usage, it's still not a great way to determine that it has a long life.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying that it isn't a great battery; it should last longer than the stock battery under greater amounts of usage given its rating. I'm just saying that comparing battery life like this, and judging battery performances on it, isn't a very great way to do it at the risk of possibly sounding like a dick. lol :p

For instance, this is a screen shot of my battery usage on a fully stock HTC EVO Design 4G (no root, unlocking, or aftermarket battery) a while back, and if I recall it correctly I had used my phone an average amount that day, actually talking a little more than on average, and somehow wound up with such a great amount of battery life. Given I was also on WiFi all day, but I usually am on WiFi all day. To note, I've yet to get such great battery life since that day though.
