Well I'm not sure how you messed it up but you had the img /img codes all messed up. Simplest way for you to see would be to quote the message, then you can see the code syntax and compare it to your own to see the difference. Hope I explained that right.

I have found that launchers are not as fast as well as icon changers. So i reset my phone and its super quick again

what do you use to get those shortcuts to dial someone directly?

It's in the shortcuts, just long press any empty spot on the screen then click add to home screen, then apps, then widgets, you will see direct dial, direct message and lots of other stuff. These are directions from stock Touch Wiz different launchers will be slightly different
