Oh, my bad. His homescreen is so bare I thought it was the lock screen lol. :)

You are right, you could do it in previous versions of TW but this one you can only move the app shortcuts, not the drawer icon afaik.

Just got my Galaxy S3 today, so I haven't had a lot of time to make major changes and I'm still getting use to all the customization options (previous iPhone user), but this is what I have so far...

Google Play has a lot of them. Just search Launcher. Go Launcher is my favorite, they have a ton of themes.

Using a widget app called Minimalistic Text. Its a good widget for creating text clocks, icons, battery and weather.

Getting a launcher like Apex or Go lets you play around with your own layouts and themes. It gets addictive...:)

For the people that have apex and or nova launchers are you guys rooted. I ask because of the widgets in the drawer. I'm not but i miss the widgets in the drawer. I know you can only have them work if your rooted.

I am but i don't think you do to have them not really sure as i root all my phones as soon as i take them out of the box

Apex tells you have to have root for this option. I have not tried the widgets in the drawer. I dont really use widgets I am not really sure what they mean or do in the drawer to be honest.

Won't have all the bells and whistles of a launcher (e.g. changing number of columns or rows, etc) but it changes ICONS just fine. And it can load up any icons from other icon packs (ADW, Go, etc) if you've loaded any of those paks onto your phone.

For me it was simpler than trying to navigate a new launcher as I am fine with the 'Wiz in general.

Great... I have taken your advise and changed my Icons with Icon Changer but i have noticed that i have lost the counter for missed calls and calendar events...

Is their a way to get that function with the new Icons like the stock ones??? By the way, remember i am not rooted.
