I used ParanoidAndroid Rom (mainly for theme support)
Nova Launcher
UCCW
Then the pre-skinned tiles for UCCW which you can download from the above site. Although not 100% compatible, I used the CM10 Afterburner theme.

Well I've decided to go with the new. I'm now using apex, and changed my full layout.

Curiously though, my lock screen remains with my old background. Not sure how that happened.

I've also got to using the apw for my other screens and I'm loving them for Facebook and sms.

Are you rooted ? Just curious how you got rid of the notifications on top .

im rooted but u dont need it.
just a custom launcher, i have it set so if i swipe up the screen it appears or disapears.
i use Nova Prime (not free but you can import your current set-up to it so its painless n its what i use, very fast) Go Launcher does it for free and Apex i think.
Nova Prime is worth paying for. every icon including dock can have a second function for example when i swipe the camera icon it takes me to gallery etc

im back to using this while i think of something MINDBLOWING...

then its simple.
