Yeah, my kernel is overclocked. Not released yet, trying to make sure it's not going to harm anybody's hardware before I release it. 900 is the highest stable clock I've been able to achieve. 925 and 950 randomly reboot and make the phone/battery hot as hell.

Yea.. what I found out about overclocking these little phones is some people are able to get better results than others even though the phone allegedly has the same exact CPU... maybe its something to do with what batch you got it from, etc. Because there are some like myself that have theirs running at 946 MHz without stressing it to the point of rebooting itself and then some can't get theirs to do it... so alot of devs in the prevail threads recommend starting at 900 MHz and working their way up or down until they find their phones sweetspot. Also before running the benching test put the CPU setting app to performance before running the test because you will probably get a better score... then change it back to ondemand or whatever you like...because keeping it on performance will run your battery down quickly...

That was my score on cm7 with overclockable kernel for my prevail.

RetroDelete and flakito97
How did you change the carrier name from metroPCS to Sprint and Flakito97?
Is that an option in this ROM?
Thank you!

go to cyanogenmod settings, interface statusbar tweaks and click on carriet label type. click on custom text. then tap on custom carrier label for your own text. by default its cyanogenmod 7. change it to anything
To make clock in middle go to lockscreen settings widget options and then tap on widget layout and choose right.etc

Thank you SamsungAdmire!.

It seems that I need to flash the CM7 rom in order to do this.

I was just wondering if there is any way to do this on the Beast Rom? I mean, maybe manually modify some *.xml files in the system directories?

I tried a few times but failed...maybe I can find how to do this in the CM7 source code?

dunno if it counts for admire, try it. but it wont change the name on lock

did some google..it seemed that i need to hack into the service.jar in /system/framework/
that's all for now..maybe i will try it later

Too complicated for me right now I thought it might be quick mod oh well maybe another day. Or I can stop being lazy and flash cm7.
